Out-of-Box: Notebooks (Germany, US, China)

In this study, an international client asked us to compare 3 notebooks regarding the whole user experience when receiving the package.
The study was contacted in 3 countries: Germany, U.S., and China.

We invited 3*20 participants to our labs, gave them the original notebook package (in rotated order) and asked them to complete tasks like opening the package, boot-up the notebooks, connecting several devices.

We gathered qualitative data on e.g. how users arrange the devices and on usability problems, and for some tasks also quantitative data like time to complete a task and completion rates.

Our client gained important insights into package and hardware design, manual layout, and expected pricing in 3 key countries.
