Internship in User Experience

We advise our national and international customers in the field of user experience and show them how their electronic interfaces can be optimally designed for usability, utility, appearance/design, and emotional quality (brand).
We test websites, mobile phones, mobile applications, navigations systems, as well as software and applications.

We are looking for students for an internship of at least three month in this exciting and trend-setting environment.

Your duties will include:

Supporting our project leaders by taking responsibility over some aspects of certain projects
Working independently on smaller projects
Assisting the preparation of interview guidelines
Preparing interviews
Conducting and observating interviews
Evaluation of data material
Supporting the preparation of presentations
Internet searches

Our requirements:

Studies of Psychology, Sociology, Economic Sciences, or similar studies
Interest in New Media
Good technical and internet knowledge
Good command of English
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Word and PowerPoint)
Good observation and analytical skills
Sociable

Internship in Quantitative Usability

SirValUse Consulting GmbH is a young innovative corporate consulting agency specialising in User Experience Consulting. We advise our national and international customers in the field of user experience and show them how their electronic interfaces (software, websites, applications, mobile phones, mobile applications, navigation systems, etc.) can be optimally designed for usability, utility, appearance/design, and emotional quality (brand).

We are looking for students for an internship of at least three months for this exciting and trend-setting environment.

You will support our project leader in special projects in quantitative usability research.

Your duties will include:

Planning and preparation of the field phase
Conducting interviews
Project coordination & control
Evaluation
Preparing reports

Our requirements:

Interest in New Media / Internet
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Desirable: SPSS, Access
Organisational skills
Good observation and analytical skills

Statistics Internship

SirValUse Consulting GmbH was founded in May 2000. With its 33 employees it specialises in User Experience Consulting, statistics and methodological consulting, as well as process optimisation.

The Statistics team conducts online surveys, works in the area of quantitative usability and advises market research institutes with regard to multivariate analytical methods and interpretation of analytical results.

We are looking for students for a three to six month internship in this exciting and trend-setting environment.

Your duties will include:

Supporting our project leaders by taking responsibility over some aspects of certain projects
Working independently on smaller projects
Preparing presentations with the results of market research studies in PowerPoint
Tabular presentation of raw data
Conducting multivariate analyses
Evaluation of data material
Supporting the preparation of presentations
Internet searches

Our requirements:

Good to very good knowledge of statistics and SPSS
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Word and PowerPoint)
